I opened your heart while you were sleeping

and it startled me to see

that it was full of me

I shut it quickly

but cautiously

so it does not wake you up

I lay down beside you and wondered again

why you never showed it to me

Now I feel guilty

that you couldn’t hide it from my detective

detecting you were uncomfortable

to show how much you loved me…secretly

I feel guilty for finding out
